Please be informed that as the 3rd of May has been declared as the PRESS FREEDOM DAY by the United Nations. The National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada, in collaboration with our sister organization the National NewsMedia Council, organize a special tribute and a salutation to this day. To this extend we are organizing a special event to celebrate the day at the Rotunda of Toronto City Hall, on Friday May the 4th, from 6 to 10:30.

Toronto Remembers Rwanda: 24th Commemoration of the Genocide against
Tutsi in Rwanda

TORONTO (April 7th 2017) – The Rwandan Community Abroad - Toronto‎



To mark the Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi in
Rwanda, an official ceremony will be held at Toronto city hall  where
the  members of the Rwandan community in Toronto, along with friends
of Rwanda will gather in solidarity at a flag rising event  to
remember the victims the tragedy .
